Ayaz Asadov

Prior to joining Barattson, Ayaz Asadov spent 5 years abroad and earned two master’s degrees. His first graduate degree is from the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy (University of Erfurt, Germany) where he studied Master of Public Policy, specializing in Public & Non-Profit Management and International Political Economy. He was one of the two recipients of Haniel Foundation (Duisburg, Germany) scholarship in his batch. In 2016, he completed his second graduate program at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (Doha, Qatar) and attained the title of Master of Art in the Study of Contemporary Muslim Thought and Societies. He was granted the prestigious Qatar Foundation Scholarship award for his academic strength and intellectual promise. While pursuing his graduate studies, Mr. Asadov worked in various projects as a researcher. The major institutions which he has collaborated with include SETA Foundation (Ankara-based prominent think-tank), Thüringen Ministry of Economics, Labour and Technology and Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar. Aspiring to purse an academic career, Mr. Asadov engages in scholarly research and has already participated in international conferences and summer schools to share his research with senior academics. In his English classes at Barattson, Mr. Asadov not only helps his students to advance their language skills, but also mentors them in their educational career choices, especially those who are interested in studying abroad. Ayaz’s IELTS score is Band 8.
