Leyli Jabbarli

Leyli Jabbarli obtained BS degree in Finance from Azerbaijan State University of Economics and Master’s degree in Finance from the same university. During study years she participated in a number of projects and trainings as mutual project of Duke University with Azerbaijan State Economical University “Applied project appraisal and risk management for economic development”, training on best practices for a positive business and investment climate held by OSCE Office in Baku in 2011, Banking principles and role of the Central Bank in the banking system which was held by Central Bank of Azerbaijan. Leyli became a winner of Azerbaijani Business Case Competition 2012, the annual community development project which is a great opportunity for the students to prepare themselves for becoming future business leaders of Azerbaijan. Undoubtedly, all above-mentioned activites served as a great impetus for Leyli’s career. She was enrolled in Strategic Marketing summer internship in one of the leading local mobile communication companies. She had been employed for two years by Ernst and Young which is is one of the "Big Four" audit firms and is the third largest professional service firm in the world. Apart from local trainings programs, Leyli benefited from participation in two international events related to investment industry in London. Currently Leyli holds the position of trader on public equities at the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Leyli Jabbarli always seeks for opportunities to enrich her work experience.
